What is flock?
Flock is a textile powder derived from various textile materials such as natural plant fibers, animal fibers, artificial fibers, or synthetic fibers. It is colored and activated, meaning it undergoes an electrostatic charging process. We can envision it as an aggregate of billions of tiny fibers, cut or ground, with varying lengths, diameters, visual effects, textures, and colors. The combination of these characteristics makes each type of flock powder unique.
Traditional Flocks
Traditional flocks are derived from virgin textile-origin raw materials.
They consist of artificial and synthetic textile nature.
This range includes both evergreen and technical flocks.
Ecoflock®
The ECOFLOCK trademark, owned by Casati Flock&Fibers, embodies our current and tangible proposition for the production of flock or technical fibers with a reduced environmental impact. Utilizing textile raw materials derived from pre-consumer waste, including colored waste, and biobased materials.
Our ECOFLOCK products are in constant evolution.
